Why? Because he scares the mass media silly because they see the ghost of Ronald Regan. An actor, served in the government, name recognition (Law &amp; Order, Die Hard 2, etc..) &amp; STRONG conservative values. Remember what Terry Macloff (I think it was him) said about Fred Thompson? "I'll never underestimate a B rated actor ever again." How else does one explain it especially after all the coverage Fred Thompson received when he WASN'T even in the race? So the Media ignores him.
